Field of Vision Driving School prides itself on providing the best tuition for the best prices and achieving the best results. The national average pass rate for the L test is always around 55%. Our pass rate is always around 80%

Areas covered are Yeovil and surrounding towns and villages in South Somerset and North and West Dorset.

We keep our costs down by working hard and doing as much as we can ourselves, meaning we can be very competitive on our prices. We often have promotions and give multi-booking discounts to help save some money on the cost involved in learning to drive.

The school is run by Neville Field who qualified as a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor in 2005. His wife Sarah helps out with the administration of the company and together they ensure an excellent service is provided for their pupils.

The tuition given is professional but friendly, very down to earth and easy going. We try to make learning to drive fun and enjoyable. We always welcome feedback from our pupils and give lessons on what the pupil feels THEY want to work on as well as what the instructor feels is needed. This way of trying to involve the pupil in the process of learning to drive works well for us and we achieve a very high first time pass rate and a happy pupil. You'll be taken through everything you need to know step by step and nothing will be rushed. The system we work to is the one recommended by the Driving Standards Agency which works on a scoring system for each aspect of learning to drive.

Beyond the L test Neville is registered and approved to give Pass Plus tuition to help pupils gain the vital experience needed to tackle driving on motorways and in our busy city's. He is also happy to help people who may already have a licence regain some confidence after an accident or a long spell of not driving. He is also a Driving Instructors Association (DIA) Member and a member of the Yeovil and District Driving School Association, which means if he can't fit you in when times are busy he can recommend a good Instructor for you and even arrange for one of them to contact you.

Automatic tuition is something we will be looking to provide in the near future. Please contact us for information on this. If you require tuition in an automatic vehicle we can get a fully qualified driving instructor to contact you and provide you with lessons.

Car's used are up to date, fitted with dual controls and are small and easy to drive.
